Lifestyle Assistant

We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating fun, engaging and meaningful activities that help residents stay connected, active and involved in daily life.

About the Role:

In this rewarding role, you will support the planning, coordination and delivery of engaging lifestyle and wellbeing programs that promote social connection, independence and enjoyment for our residents. You will also play an active role in encouraging and assisting residents to participate in activities that enhance their wellbeing, independence and quality of life.

About You

You are a compassionate and enthusiastic individual who thrives in a collaborative, resident-focused environment. You bring a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and a genuine passion for improving the lives of older Australians.

You will bring:

- Experience supporting lifestyle, leisure, wellbeing or recreational programs, preferably within aged care, community services, disability support or a similar environment.
- Solid communication skills and the ability to build rapport with residents
- A Certificate III in Individual Support
- A Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (desirable)
- First Aid and CPR certification (desirable)
- Currently holds, or willing to obtain a current Police Check
- Basic computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Outlook, online systems and electronic documentation.
