Amazing Grace Early Learning Centre is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Chef / Cook to join our team at our Railway Estate centre .
This is a rewarding part‑time position where you’ll play an important role in supporting the health and wellbeing of our children by preparing fresh, nutritious and delicious meals and snacks each day.

About the Role
As our Centre Chef / Cook, you will:
- Prepare and serve daily meals and snacks for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years
- Follow our centre menu while catering for allergies, intolerances and individual dietary requirements
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised kitchen in accordance with food safety requirements
- Manage food preparation, stock levels, ordering and kitchen supplies
- Work closely with educators to promote healthy eating and positive mealtime experiences
- Ensure dietary and allergy requirements are carefully followed at all times
About You
We are looking for someone who is organised, dependable and genuinely enjoys preparing food for children.
Ideally, you will have:
- Previous experience working as a Chef or Cook
- Childcare, school, aged care or similar high-volume kitchen experience is highly regarded
- Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements
- An understanding of nutrition and menu preparation for young children
- Excellent time-management and organisational skills
- The ability to confidently manage allergies, intolerances and dietary requirements
- A caring, reliable and positive attitude
Requirements
You will need to hold, or be willing to obtain:
- Food Handling Certificate
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Child Protection Training (Australian Government National Child Safety Training through the Geccko)
