We are currently seeking a Grounds Crew Member to join our client's team, working across some of Melbourne's most prestigious suburbs within the City of Stonnington.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active and contributing to the presentation of parks and public spaces.

No previous grounds maintenance experience is required. We're looking for candidates with a great attitude, strong work ethic, reliability and a willingness to learn.

You will generally work in pairs, starting each day from the Clayton South depot, where you'll meet your work partner, collect the work vehicle and travel to various locations throughout Stonnington.

What You'll Be Doing

Your day-to-day duties may include:

- Cleaning public amenities

- Collecting litter and rubbish

- Replenishing dog waste bag dispensers

- Responding to dumped rubbish and hard waste requests

- Cleaning and wiping down public litter bins

- Minor graffiti removal





- General upkeep of parks, gardens and public spaces

- Assisting with minor repairs and maintenance tasks

- Following all workplace health and safety procedures

What We're Looking For

You don't need previous grounds maintenance experience — attitude and reliability are key.

We're looking for people who are:

- Reliable, punctual and committed to consistent attendance

- Physically fit and comfortable performing manual tasks

- Happy working outdoors in all weather conditions

- Comfortable working as part of a team

- Able to work independently when required

- Safety-conscious with a solid work ethic

- Positive, hardworking and willing to learn

- Comfortable with early morning starts

Candidates with backgrounds in labouring, landscaping, gardening, cleaning, warehousing, construction or other hands‑on roles are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

- Full Australian working rights

- Valid Australian driver's licence

- Able to pass a National Police Check

- Current Working With Children Check, or willing to obtain one

- Physically capable of performing the duties

- Commitment to workplace health and safety
