We are currently seeking a reliable and customer-focused Weighbridge Operator / Administration Officer to join our team in Lismore on a 6-month maternity leave contract .
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administration and computer skills who enjoys working with customers and is looking for a Monday to Friday role with consistent hours.
About the Role
Working Monday to Friday, 7:15am - 3:45pm , you will be responsible for a combination of weighbridge operations, customer service and general administration duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating the weighbridge and accurately recording vehicle weights and movements
- Assisting customers and providing friendly and professional customer service
- Processing customer payments and handling transactions
- Completing general administrative duties and data entry
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Using computer systems to enter and process information
- Responding to customer enquiries and assisting with any queries
- Supporting the wider team with day-to-day administrative tasks
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Must undergo a Medical Drug and Alcohol Test
- Must undergo a Police Check
- Previous administration or customer service experience
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Confidence handling payments and transactions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A reliable and professional approach to work
- Previous weighbridge experience is advantageous but not essential
