We are exclusively partnering with a family office seeking a part-time finance professional to support the ongoing management of its operations.

This is a three-day-per-week role , initially offered on a contract basis , with a explicit pathway to a permanent position for the right individual.

The business has a strong family-oriented culture , and the role will involve working closely with the owner. As such, they are looking for someone with excellent attention to detail , a proactive approach, and the ability to communicate financial matters clearly and patiently .

Flexible working hours are available to accommodate personal commitments; however, this is a hybrid role with an expectation of regular office presence .

Key Responsibilities

The role will cover three primary areas across a group of key entities:

Financial Operations

- Manage day-to-day accounting, including accounts payable and receivable
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records

Investment & Portfolio Oversight

- Assist in managing a portfolio of legacy investments and relationships
- Liaise with external stakeholders where required




- Prior exposure to fund accounting or investment reporting would be advantageous

Tax & Compliance

- Take ownership of internal tax and compliance responsibilities
- Act as the key point of contact for interactions with ASIC and the ATO
- Liaise with external advisors (PwC) where required

About You

- Strong attention to detail and a hands-on approach
- Comfortable working in a small, close-knit environment
- Able to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
- Experience within a family office, investment environment, or SME would be beneficial
- Exposure to investment portfolios or funds is desirable but not essential
- Adaptable and comfortable working across different systems
