About the role

This is a leading hand position, starting casual for the first three months with a pathway to a part-time role with guaranteed days. Typically 3–4 days a week, with flexible days to suit the right applicant and the option to swap around rain. Each day starts at our base in Greenacre, where you'll pick up the work vehicle and head out to jobs across Sydney. You'll start working alongside the founder to learn our clients, standards and systems. Once you're confident, you'll run days solo and lead jobs, with an offsider provided on bigger workloads.

Key responsibilities

- Maintaining residential gardens and lawns: mowing, edging, hedging, pruning
- Planting, soil preparation, mulching and soft landscaping
- Diagnosing plant health issues and recommending treatments
- Communicating with clients on site and representing the business
- Leading an offsider on larger jobs

About you

- Solid plant knowledge: you know what to plant where, and why
- A leadership mindset: switched on, takes ownership, makes good calls on site




- Robust work ethic and positive energy you bring to the team every day
- Keen to learn and grow with the business
- Current driver's licence
- Cert III in Horticulture or Landscaping highly regarded, not essential if your experience speaks for itself
