Infrastructure Supervisor (Infrastructure and Minor Projects) - Commodore Mine

Commodore Mine is an emerging operation located approximately 3hrs from Brisbane. About the role

Reporting to the Electrical Engineering Manager, you will lead and guide maintenance activities for site Infrastructure assets including buildings and fixed plant infrastructure. This role involves project management delivery for fixed and mobile plant assets, developing minor project schedules, budgets, technical specifications and scopes of work, and coordinating contractor activities related to infrastructure projects delivery. You will manage and develop Minor Projects operational readiness requirements including Risk Management, maintenance inspections, training and spares requirements, manage improvement and statutory compliance projects within the Maintenance team, and contribute as a member of the maintenance leadership team to help deliver department goals and outcomes.

Key responsibilities

Lead and guide maintenance activities for site Infrastructure assets including buildings and fixed plant infrastructure

Project management delivery for fixed and mobile plant assets

Develop minor project schedules, budgets,



technical specifications and scopes of work

Coordinate contractor activities related to infrastructure projects delivery

Manage and develop Minor Projects operational readiness requirements including Risk Management, maintenance inspections, training and spares requirements

Manage improvement and statutory compliance projects within the Maintenance team

Contribute as a member of the maintenance leadership team to help deliver department goals and outcomes

About you

Minimum trade qualified with experience in the maintenance of fixed plant infrastructure and mining plant and equipment

Experience in delivery of minor projects including scope and specification development, tendering and quoting for works, contractor management and contract compliance

Demonstrate a history of positive safety and team leadership while developing teams to achieve and exceed targets safely

Well-developed verbal and written communication skills to work across a dynamic and diverse workforce and proficient with EXCEL and Project

RIIRIS301 / RIIWHS301 / RIICOM301 / RIIRIS402 (formerly S1, S2, S3, G2)

Hold a current Queensland Coal Mine Worker's Health Scheme Assessment, Standard 11, current Australian manual Drivers Licence and be prepared to undertake a pre-employment medical.

This position requires the preferred candidate to undertake a QLD Coal Mine Workers Health Scheme Assessment, a Pre-Employment Medical, and successfully complete Standard 11 training.
