Our client is a high-profile NSW statutory organisation delivering one of the state's most significant and time-critical public events.

As part of a major technology program, we are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to support the planning, configuration, testing and deployment of approximately 12,000 end-user devices, tablets and supporting technology across close to 100 sites.

You will work closely with the Technical Delivery Lead, internal technology teams, suppliers and project stakeholders to ensure technical requirements are clearly defined, documented, tested and delivered within a highly time-critical environment.

Responsibilities

- Elicit, analyse and document technical and functional requirements relating to end-user devices, tablets and supporting technology.
- Develop clear and structured BA artefacts, including requirements, specifications, process flows, dependency and risk documentation.
- Support the planning and coordination of a large-scale deployment of approximately 12,000 devices across multiple locations.
- Work with technical teams and suppliers to document device configuration, provisioning, deployment and support requirements.
- Support configuration, testing, validation and readiness activities ahead of deployment.
- Participate in technical workshops and translate discussions into clear, actionable requirements and documentation.
- Work closely with suppliers and vendors to clarify requirements, resolve issues and support delivery.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies across multiple technology workstreams.
- Support go-live readiness and deployment activities within a fixed and highly time-critical delivery schedule.
- Work closely with the Technical Delivery Lead and broader program team to maintain delivery momentum.

Skills and experience

- Strong experience as a Technical Business Analyst within complex technology or implementation programs.




- Demonstrated experience supporting a large-scale technology deployment, device rollout, technology refresh, site rollout or go-live program.
- Practical experience working with end-user devices, tablets, laptops, mobile devices or other large-scale endpoint technology.
- Experience documenting and managing technical and functional requirements throughout a technology delivery lifecycle.
- Exposure to device configuration, provisioning, testing, deployment and operational readiness.
- Experience working directly with technical delivery teams, infrastructure teams, suppliers and technology vendors.
- Strong workshop facilitation, stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- The ability to identify and manage technical risks, issues and dependencies.
- Experience working in complex, multi-workstream and deadline-driven environments.
- A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.

Highly desirable

- Experience supporting deployments involving thousands of devices or multiple sites.
- Experience with technology or infrastructure rollouts involving geographically dispersed locations.
- Experience in election, government, emergency services, retail, banking, logistics, education or other large-scale operational environments.
- NICE CXone or other contact centre technology experience.
- Previous experience working within government or another highly governed workplace.

Contract details

- Location: Sydney
- Contract: ASAP to 31 March 2027
- Rate: Up to $940+ per day + super
- Program: Major NSW technology deployment
