Job Summary

As we kick on further into the delivery of Inland Rail, we are now looking for a Senior Project Engineer, with a mix of Structural/Civil experience and strong contract management skills to help manage the delivery of a major part of the project from our site offices in Albury, NSW. Excellent opportunity to join one of the biggest rail infrastructure projects to happen in regional Australia.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

- Provide engineering support to the greater team to facilitate the structural construction process.
- Ensure design deliverables are clearly defined in support of construction and project deliverables.
- Maintain positive relationships with client representatives.




- Actively develop work packages in support of project construction activities, defining scope of works, materials, and resource requirements
- Support and assist the construction team in the execution of the project on time and to budget.
- Ensure that all construction is completed in accordance with the Project Quality Management Plan and Workplace Health and Safety standards.
- Directly influence the safety culture through the promotion of safe work practices to all project personnel
- Perform technical, engineering, inspection, scheduling, planning, survey, procurement and quality control functions for all activities at site
- Implement the inspection and test requirements of the Project Execution Plan
- Continually monitor work team, promoting learning and development opportunities in support of current and future project requirements and their own career development opportunities

Qualifications and Experience

- Proven experience in a relevant engineering field such as Structural OR Rail
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications in Engineering
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of projects.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage complex issues.
