Cardiac Sonographer | Permanent | Brisbane

Our client is a leading cardiovascular provider delivering high-quality cardiac diagnostics across multiple private hospital and medical centre locations. With a large multidisciplinary workforce (77 staff, including 33 clinical and support personnel), they're known for patient-first care, strong clinical standards, and a supportive team culture.

About the position

Our client is looking for an experienced Cardiac Sonographer to join our clients' team and deliver high-quality cardiac ultrasound and stress echo services across 7 sites .

You’ll work in a well-resourced environment with in office Cardiologists , broad inpatient and outpatient exposure, and a consistent workflow that supports quality reporting and professional growth.

Typical workload is 8-10 studies per day , including inpatient work across CCU, ICU, ED, post-surgical and interventional cardiac cases, alongside outpatient echoes and stress echoes.

Hours: Service hours run 7:00am-7:00pm , with start/finish typically between 7:00am-9:00am and 3:00pm-6:00pm .

Key Requirements

To be successful, you will have:

- Tertiary qualification in Cardiac Sonography
- ASAR registration
- Demonstrated Stress Echo experience, including minimum 225 independent Stress Echocardiograms




- Ability to perform Stress Echo to the satisfaction of the testing Cardiologists.
- Strong written and verbal communication and a patient-centred approach
- Flexibility to work across multiple locations and adapt to roster/service needs

Highly regarded

- Interest or experience supervising students/trainee sonographers and supporting junior development
