In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

- Providing leadership to multi sites across Northern Region – comprising of 12 branches across Queensland, New Zealand and Papa New to promote Work Health, Safety & Environment best practices and continuous improvement.
- Builds solid relationships across functions to ensure the organization drives a strong interdependent HSE culture.
- Manages planning actions to set targets and objectives for the site and drives actions to completion.
- Leads an effective support model throughout the site through training, skills development and internal communications.
- Provide support with risk management and risk mitigation to ensure effective controls are in place.
- Managing workers' compensation matters, including rehabilitation, case management, and return-to-work programs.
- Engage in visible leadership with site presence and engagement to ensure compliance with Safe Systems of Work.
- Leads work cross-functionally as required to resolve work-related incidents, non-compliances, non-conformities, corrective and preventive actions driving continual improvement within the site(s).
- Supports the business with legal and internal auditing programs.
- Actively seeks opportunities for self-development through professional health, safety and environmental organizations, as a champion of emerging trends

As a member of the senior leadership team you will utilise your industrial HSE knowledge and team-oriented and influencing skills to contribute to and drive the successful implementation of HSE strategies

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

- Diploma or higher in Occupational Health and Safety or degree in related field
- Strong knowledge of WHS and Environmental legislation, standards, and codes of practice.
- Proven experience as an HSE Manager or similar role supporting Multi Sites and or Regions
- Exceptional Stakeholder management and the ability to take control and makes this role your own
- Demonstrated safety leadership and ability to work hands-on while providing guidance to HSE resources.
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
- 25% Travel and availability to be on-site as required.
