This is a 12-month fixed term, part-time (0.8FTE) position commencing Term 1, 2027 with possible extension (12 months) and/or permanency. Chapman Valley Primary School is a welcoming small country school located in Nabawa, approximately 39 kilometres north-east of Geraldton. Every student is known, valued and supported within our Kindergarten to Year 6 setting. Our students learn across two multi-age classes: Kindergarten to Year 2 and Years 3 to 6. This structure allows teachers to respond closely to individual learning needs while building strong relationships with students and families. Our small-school environment enables us to provide responsive and individualised learning within a safe, inclusive and engaging setting. Students are supported and challenged to achieve their best. The Role

We are seeking a positive, motivated and collaborative primary teacher who is committed to improving outcomes for every student. The successful applicant will ideally be confident teaching in a multi-age setting and able to provide differentiated and engaging learning that responds to individual student needs. Quality teaching is central to our work. We invest in our teachers through ongoing professional learning and collaborative planning.



The successful applicant would ideally be committed to explicit and evidence-based teaching, the Department’s Quality Teaching Strategy and our agreed whole-school approaches. Knowledge or experience in MultiLit and Talk for Writing will be highly regarded; however, support and qualified learning will be available.

- Strong teaching practice and sound knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum
