THE ROLE

The Improvement Officer in the Performance Improvement Team will deliver continuous improvement across Homes Victoria.



The Improvement Officer will be guided and supported to identify and execute enhancements to a diverse range of subject matter with a focus on processes, systems and ways of working.

The role will also play an important role in supporting the day-to-day management of utility processes across Homes Victoria that includes investigating invoicing and utility anomalies and coordinating issue resolution across a range of internal and external stakeholders to achieve timely outcomes.

This role requires a proactive and curious mindset with determination to improve ways of working. It also required strong record management skills, a habit of steady follow-up and the ability to investigate operational issues, analyse information and determine appropriate actions.

Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa. Work eligibility will be checked as part of the recruitment process. Preferred candidates will be required to complete pre-employment screening, including a national police check and misconduct screening.

ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

- Support the delivery of continuous improvement projects, that includes identifying, researching and understanding the current state through to implementing practical improvements.
- Manage the team mailbox that includes triaging enquiries, prioritising work and responding within agreed service standards.
- Investigate utility anomalies, gathering relevant information and coordinating timely resolution with internal and external stakeholders.
