Position Summary:

We are seeking skilled and dedicated Multi Combination (MC) Drivers to join our team on a permanent basis. As an MC Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and productive transportation of perishable goods using refrigerated trucks. This role requires a strong commitment to maintaining the cold chain, adhering to road transport laws, and delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Position:

MC Driver, BFM Accredited , 4 shifts between Monday – Sunday (Day or Night)

Regional bulk deliveries to supermarkets,

Unloading using electric pallet jacks.

Key Responsibilities:

- Vehicle Operation: Safely operate multi-combination and heavy combination refrigerated vehicles, conduct inspections, and secure loads appropriately.
- Temperature Control: Monitor and maintain the temperature within the refrigerated unit to ensure the integrity of perishable goods.
- Compliance: Adhere to road safety regulations, maintain accurate logbooks, and ensure compliance with weight restrictions and freight handling guidelines.
- Freight Handling: Load, unload, and verify the accuracy of perishable goods,



ensuring proper securing of loads.
- Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients and customers, providing excellent service and representing the company professionally.
- Maintenance: Report vehicle defects, perform minor maintenance tasks, and maintain cleanliness of vehicles and equipment.
- Safety: Follow all health and safety regulations, participate in safety training, and ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Licensing: Valid Multi Combination (MC) driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience: Proven experience as an MC driver, preferably in refrigerated transport, with knowledge of regulations and best practices.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of road safety regulations, excellent time management, organisational skills, and physical fitness for manual tasks.

Working Conditions:

- Hours: Varied hours, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and public holidays. Long-distance travel and extended periods away from home may be required.
- Environment: Exposure to various weather conditions, interaction with clients, and work within refrigerated environments.
