Civwil Pty Ltd is currently seeking an experienced HR Water Truck Operator to join an established civil construction company working across projects in the Brisbane area. Immediate start.

In this position you will be responsible for the secure and effective operation of a HR water truck across various civil sites and when idle can operator various plant when instructed.

We are looking for skilled and reliable operator who can work independently and as part of a team on active construction sites.

What you need

- HR License
- Experience driving a HR Truck on civil sites
- Reliable transport to get to site
- Standpipe tickets
- Construction White Card
- Plant tickets preferred
- Ability to pass site inductions and safety requirements

What You’ll Be Doing

- Operate water truck safely across commercial construction sites
- Carry out watering for dust suppression
- Hand-water areas where truck access is limited
- Complete daily pre-start checks and basic vehicle maintenance




- Maintain clean and safe work sites, depot areas, and vehicle
- Comply with all workplace health and safety requirements road rules, company procedures and site requirements.
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification
- Operating plant when water truck is idle.

What We’re Looking For

- Previous experience operating water trucks and working on construction sites
- Minimum 2 years’ water truck operating experience preferred
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety practices
- Physically capable of regularly entering and exiting the truck and undertaking manual tasks where required
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and motivated with a positive team-focused attitude
