As the Cairns Advance to Zero and Intra-Agency Referrals Coordinator, you will drive the Advance to Zero project: a team-oriented, place based, and data-driven initiative designed to improve outcomes for people experiencing homelessness or housing vulnerability. You will undertake resource planning, project activities, stakeholder engagement, campaigns and enable the meaningful involvement of people with lived (and living) experience while advocating for service system improvements and progressing the goal of ending homelessness in the region.

You will also oversee incoming referrals across key Anglicare NQ services to ensure clients are connected to appropriate services in a timely and coordinated manner. Your collaborative approach will enable seamless referrals, optimize the use of resources, streamline casework, strengthen integrated service delivery and improve data quality, performance monitoring and client outcomes.

To be successful you will need

- Tertiary qualifications in Community Services / Social Sciences or related discipline.
- Significant prior experience in case management, service system advocacy and or program / project management.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the needs of people experiencing homelessness, and or housing vulnerability, the homelessness service system and public, private and community housing sectors.
- Proven ability to oversight and positively impact on referral pathways, service coordination and collaborative casework efforts to ensure service delivery is integrated, client-centered and focused on outcomes.
- Advanced client and stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to foster collaboration and innovation and drive service system improvements, and advocacy efforts.
- Highly developed communication, project administration, report writing,



data analysis skills and the ability to use contemporary databases, ICT systems, and reporting tools.
- Commitment todiversity, inclusion, reconciliation and closing the gapobjectivesand experience working with First Nations people,organisationsand communities.

- Satisfactory outcome of a current (less than 3 months old) National Criminal History Check
- Blue Card (QLD working with children card)
- QLD drivers’ licence ‘Class C’ or interstate equivalent
- Out of hours work may be required from time to time.
- Ability (and willingness) to undertake local area / regional travel.
