Where you'll be working

SESLHD is one of the largest local health districts in Sydney, covering a geographical area of 468 square kilometres from Sydney’s central business district, the beaches from Bondi to Cronulla and down to the Royal National Park. We deliver health care to around 930,000 residents across the local government areas of Woollahra, Waverley, Randwick, Bayside, Georges River and the Sutherland Shire. We also provide a key role in helping residents of Lord Howe Island. Our staff also deliver high quality health care across a variety of community-based services ranging from pre-birth to palliative care.

The Role

To provide a high level administrative and secretarial support to the Director of Finance, and Deputy Director of Finance and also assist other direct reporting Manager's of the District Finance team.

Selection Criteria

- Demonstrated experience in providing a high calibre of administrative support to Senior Executive in a large and complex organisation.




- Excellent written/oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated capacity to organise a high level workload with competing priorities in a professional manner.
- Ability to confidentially and sensitively handle controversial and emotive issues.
- Experience in servicing Committees, including preparation of complex agendas and minute taking.
- Experience in the preparation of complex correspondence and reports, including quality assurance.
- Demonstrated capacity for effective teamwork.
- Advanced computing skills, including the Microsoft suite of programs particularly Word and Excel, Internet/Intranet, TRIM/HPE Content Management System, NSW Health Recruitment Systems, Stafflink, Maximo and email technology.
