THE ROLE

This is a hands-on technical delivery appointment with real client exposure, not a ticket‑taking support role. We are looking for a capable Developer / SEO specialist to join our high-performing global team and take ownership of the websites, digital assets, and search performance that sit behind SandS Australia and its clients.





This role is designed for a technically solid individual contributor who is comfortable moving between building and optimising - shipping clean, maintainable front-end work one day and diagnosing a ranking drop or crawl issue the next. You will work on live client sites and on our own digital estate, to Australian and international standards from day one.

You will report to the Manager - Marketing and Digital Experience, who sets creative and campaign direction and reviews client-facing output before release. The role sits at the intersection of web development, technical SEO, and content performance, and carries a defined progression pathway into senior technical and lead roles for those who consistently deliver.

This is a role for someone who ships carefully, measures what they build, and raises the problem before it becomes a client issue.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Web Development & Delivery

- Build, maintain, and enhance responsive websites and landing pages across client engagements and SandS Australia’s own digital estate.
- Manage hosting, deployments, domains, SSL, backups, and version control with disciplined change management.
- Integrate forms, analytics, tracking, CRM connections, and third-party tools reliably and securely.

Search & Performance Optimisation

- Own technical SEO across all managed sites - site architecture, indexation, crawlability, structured data, redirects, and Core Web Vitals.
- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis, and translate findings into practical on-page and content recommendations.
