Title: Planner - Up to 12-month Parental Leave Position

Our opportunity

- Ability to effectively manage and assess multiple planning applications simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate assessments are delivered.




- Acting as an expert witness in Land and Environment Court appeals, managing and representing Council at planning panels
- Attending to planning enquires, providing planning advice and providing high level customer service to the residents of the Northern Beaches

Who we are looking for

- Tertiary qualification in Town Planning or equivalent
- Excellent project management and organisational skills with ability to undertake a range of tasks and prioritise work to meet deadlines
- Practical experience and exposure to preparing reports and presenting to Local and Planning Panels and the Land and Setting Court
- Current NSW Class C Drivers Licence
- Experience with Technology One, Content Manager, Objective Trapeze, or similar software is highly regarded
