Halcyon House is a boutique luxury beachfront hotel on the Tweed Coast, home to the acclaimed Paper Daisy restaurant. We're known for spaces that feel personal, relaxed and beautifully cared for. We're looking for a hands-on Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our team and make sure every room meets that standard.
About the role
You’ll run the housekeeping team day to day, working closely with the Housekeeping Manager and Front Office so every guest arrives to a flawless room.
What you’ll do
Lead, roster and train the housekeeping team, and plan daily room allocations around occupancy
Provide high quality cleaning, inspect rooms and public areas so everything meets Halcyon House presentation standards
Help your team grow through coaching, feedback and onboarding recent starters
Coordinate with Front Office on arrivals, departures, VIPs and special requests
Manage linen, amenities and cleaning stock, including ordering and cost control
Report maintenance issues and follow them through to completion
Keep WHS procedures and chemical safety practices up to date
Handle guest feedback about rooms quickly and warmly
About you
Experience in luxury or boutique hotels, including time in a supervisory or senior role preferred
A sharp eye for detail and pride in presentation
A calm, organised leader who can bring a team along with them
Clear communication and a genuine service mindset
Available to work a rotating roster that includes weekends and public holidays
Full working rights in Australia and your own transport (we're a coastal location)
