Type A Gas Service Plumber - Commercial Hot Water

Commercial Hot Water and Maintenance is seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and experienced Plumbing Gas Service Technician to join a specialised team within one of Australia’s leading commercial plumbing companies.

This role provides the opportunity to work in a highly specialised sector of the plumbing industry, focusing on commercial water heating systems across multiple technologies, including gas and heat pump systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Service and maintenance of a wide range of commercial hot water systems, including Enermax, Rinnai, Rheem, Bosch, Thermann, and Dux
- Reactive maintenance on commercial water heating systems
- Retrofit, replacement, and installation of hot water plant equipment, including pumps, valves, controllers, and continuous-flow units
- Diagnostics and fault-finding
- Participation in an after-hours on-call roster
- General reactive plumbing maintenance as required
- Ensure ongoing compliance with relevant plumbing regulations and standards

About the Role

You will work on a variety of commercial gas and heat pump water heating systems in a supportive, professional environment that values training and development.

The role includes regular expert in-house and external training, along with continuing professional development.



All completed works require an administrative component using our job management platform AroFlo (we can train you in this if you're not familiar)

Work is based around Melbourne CBD and surrounding areas.

Mandatory Requirements

Applicants must hold:

- BPC Plumbing Registration
- ESV Disconnect & Reconnect licence
- Proven experience in commercial plumbing maintenance

Remuneration

Remuneration will be paid in accordance with Part D of our Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA), including associated fares and allowances.
