The role

In this chance as an AN-ACC Team Leader at mecwacare, you will oversee AN-ACC processes across multiple Residential Aged Care Facilities, supporting the optimisation of funding outcomes while maintaining a strong focus on resident care and compliance. You will work collaboratively with AN-ACC Coordinators, Facility Managers, Clinical Care Coordinators and other stakeholders to review classifications, identify opportunities for reassessment and ensure documentation supports residents’ assessed care needs. You will also monitor funding performance, lead AN-ACC reporting and audits, implement consistent processes, provide staff education and ensure changes to AN-ACC legislation and guidelines are effectively embedded across residential services.

About you

You are an experienced Registered Nurse with active AHPRA registration who brings advanced knowledge of AN-ACC, residential aged care legislation and accreditation requirements. You will have strong analytical skills and experience reviewing data and funding outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement. With excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, you are confident providing advice, coaching staff and building effective relationships across clinical and operational teams. You will also bring strong organisational, problem-solving and time-management skills, together with experience developing AN-ACC education and training. Previous clinical care management, coaching or education experience will be highly regarded.

What you bring

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Advanced knowledge, understanding and proven experience working with AN-ACC in a Similar role.
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of Aged Care Legislation and Accreditation Standards in a residential aged care setting.




- Demonstrated ability to manage data and undertake financial analysis related to AN-ACC funding.
- Demonstrated leadership Skills and an ability to achieve organisational goals relevant to AN-ACC.
- Evidence of success in developing/maintaining business orientation to AN-ACC income
- Experience in the planning, development and delivery of relevant AN-ACC education and training programs for staff.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Well-developed organisational, problem solving and time management skills.
- Current Victorian Driver's License.

Desirable Criteria

- Clinical care management experience with previous experience in AN-ACC.
- Previous education and coaching experience.
- Computer literacy including knowledge Of the Microsoft Office suite; Outlook, Word, Excel and internet skills.
