RM/RN (Dual) - Gladstone Hospital - Maternity & Neonatal Nursery

Gladstone Hospital's Maternity and Neonatal Nursery is seeking an experienced Registered Midwife or Registered Nurse (Dual) to join the team on a four-week contract from 7 September to 6 October 2026. This is an opportunity to work in a busy maternity and neonatal environment, supporting mothers and newborns during critical moments in their care journey. You'll bring your clinical expertise to a dedicated team committed to secure, compassionate practice across the birth suite, ante and post-natal wards, and neonatal nursery.

- Four-week contract role across maternity, neonatal nursery, and birth suite settings
- Work alongside experienced clinicians in a high-acuity maternity environment
- Opportunity to apply advanced neonatal resuscitation skills in a supportive team





Preferred Requirements

- Demonstrated maternity nursing or midwifery experience
- Current Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation certification
- Solid experience in ante-natal and post-natal care settings
- Proven competence and confidence working in the birth suite
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife or Registered Nurse
- Relevant post-graduate qualifications or certifications in midwifery or neonatal nursing
- Current CPR and emergency life support certifications
