Leocata's Transport is seeking an experienced Transport Allocator to join our growing team in Tatura, VIC. You will be responsible for efficiently managing and optimising our fleet of vehicles and drivers in a fast-changing environment where no two days are the same.

This is a fast-paced operational role suited to someone who can problem solve, think ahead, remain calm under pressure.

The successful applicant will play a key role in maintaining service standards, compliance expectations, and operational efficiency across the business.

What you'll be doing

- Daily scheduling and allocation of Transport movements
- Coordinating drivers, subcontractors and fleet requirements
- Monitor and adjust transportation plans in response to changing conditions, such as traffic, weather, or vehicle/driver availability
- Liaise with customers, drivers, and other stakeholders to provide updates and resolve any delivery issues
- Ensure Driver compliance with NHVR, Fatigue, Mass
- Ensuring required transport documentation, prestart and operational records are completed accurately
- Speaking with drivers regarding operational concerns, events, NCR's and compliance matters in a constructive manner.
- Assisting in the investigation and follow up of operational incidents trends
- Provide support and guidance to the transportation team as needed

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in a transport or logistics coordination role, preferably within the fleet management industry




- Minimum of 1-2 years of transport or logistics coordination experience is required
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to effectively manage complex, time-sensitive transportation needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with customers, drivers, and other stakeholders
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Proficiency in using transportation management software and data analysis toolsExperience with any transportation management system is required
- Basic awareness of transport regulations and safety requirements is required
- Basic accounting and administration understanding, including experience with invoicing, cost control and transport financial processes (or willing to learn)
- Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
