About us

Blackwater Multipurpose Health Service is a busy 16-bed rural facility providing acute inpatient, emergency, residential aged care, outpatient, pharmacy and urgent radiology services. You'll work with a close-knit team caring for people across the Blackwater community, with visiting allied health and a range of community health services also available.

About the role

As a Registered Nurse, no two shifts will necessarily look the same. You'll provide safe, person-centred care across Emergency, Acute and Residential Aged Care , giving you the opportunity to build a broad range of clinical skills and experience.

You will:

- assess, plan, deliver and evaluate nursing care
- respond to a diverse range of clinical presentations
- work closely with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team
- contribute to quality improvement and patient safety




- support and guide colleagues while continuing to develop your own clinical practice.

About you

You're a Registered Nurse who enjoys variety, works well as part of a team and can adapt confidently to the changing needs of a rural health service.

The following would also be advantageous:

- Advanced Life Saving, Triage and Resuss competencies
- Post graduate experience in Emergency or Perioperative Services
- Rural and remote emergency care experience

Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse is mandatory.

What we offer

Total remuneration value of up to $127,861 is comprised of:

- An hourly rate between $44.06 - $56.51 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
