Greenkeeper or Experienced Grounds Person

Oxley Golf Club is seeking an experienced Greenkeeper or Grounds Person to join our team on a full-time basis. Based in Oxley, Queensland, this role will be responsible for maintaining the pristine condition of our golf course and surrounding grounds. It is an exciting time to join the team with a full redevelopment in the not too distant future.

What you'll be doing

Be part of the team that undertakes the full 18 hole course redevelopment in the next few years.

Carry out regular mowing, edging, and maintenance of the golf course, including greens, fairways, and rough areas

Ensure the golf course is free of debris and in excellent playing condition at all times

Operate and maintain a variety of landscaping equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, and aerators

Assist with the implementation of irrigation systems and monitor water usage

Identify and treat any pests, diseases, or other issues affecting the course

Collaborate with the course management team to develop and implement maintenance schedules and strategies

Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and procedures

What we're looking for

Experience in a similar Greenkeeper or Grounds Person role is preferred, ideally within the golf industry

Strong practical knowledge of golf course maintenance, including turf management, irrigation, and equipment operation





Ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the golf course is maintained to the highest standards

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional results

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as required

Relevant qualifications or certifications in horticulture, turf management, or a related field would be highly advantageous
