We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Trade Assistants / General Labourers to join our client on a construction project based in Yarra Junction, Victoria .
This is a hands‑on site-based position supporting general construction activities. We are looking for people who are comfortable using hand and power tools and are ready to get stuck into a range of site duties.
The Role
- General labouring and construction site support
- Installation of temporary fencing
- Installation of silt fencing and sediment controls
- Safe use of hand and power tools
- Assisting trades and other site personnel as required
- General site clean‑up and maintaining a secure work area
- Following all site safety procedures and instructions
What You'll Need
To be considered, you will need:
- Valid Construction White Card – essential
- Previous construction, trade assistant or general labouring experience
- Confidence using hand and power tools
- Ability to undertake physically demanding work
- Reliable transport to and from the Yarra Junction site
- Your own Hi-Vis workwear and steel‑cap safety boots
- A reliable attitude and strong work ethic
All other required site PPE will be provided.
What's On Offer
- $45 per hour
- Travel allowance
- Meal allowance
- 10-hour working days - 7:00am to 5:00pm
- Opportunity to work on an active construction project
- Site located at Yarra Junction VIC
