Springwood Tyre Services is seeking Tyre Fitters and Wheel Aligners to join our workshop in Valley Heights, with multiple full-time and casual positions available. We are looking for someone who can share in our vision of "keeping the community safe on the road" and have the success of the business in mind.
Key responsibilities
- Clear, honest advice and customer service.
- Inspect tyres for damage, wear and defects and recommend appropriate options.
- Carry out puncture repairs and other routine tyre-maintenance services.
- Diagnose steering-wheel alignment, wheel-balance and abnormal tyre-wear.
- Operate tyre-fitting, balancing and alignment equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform accurate wheel alignments and adjust toe, camber and caster.
- Keep the workshop clean, organised and safe.
About you
- Reliable, punctual, honest and professional, with a positive can-do attitude.
- Commitment to workplace safety, continuous improvement and learning.
- Sound practical knowledge of tyre types, sizes, vehicle compatibility, alignment geometry, tyre wear, steering and suspension.
- Proven tyre fitting,
balancing and wheel alignment experience.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a small team.
- Experience with vehicle servicing or general mechanical work (desirable but not essential).
- Stock-control or workshop-inventory experience (desirable but not essential).
- A recognised tyre fitting or automotive qualification (desirable but not essential).
