Edge Commercial Interiors is seeking a highly skilled CNC Machine Operator/Edge Bander Operator/Homag Beam Saw Operator to join our energetic team in Keilor East. We are a well established company, with over 25 years experience, manufacturing unique and customised architectural joinery. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson to contribute to the production of high-quality architectural joinery and custom cabinetry. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will operate specialised machinery and equipment to ensure efficient and precise fabrication of custom cabinetry and furniture components.
What you'll be doing
Operate CNC machine to cut, shape and profile a variety of materials
Operate Edge Banding machine to apply edging to the exposed edges of panels, shelves and other components
Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to ensure optimal performance
Work closely with the production team to meet tight deadlines and quality standards
Contribute to a safe work environment by following all safety protocols and procedures
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator/Edge Bander Operator/Homag Beam Saw Operator
Strong understanding of CNC Machine programming and operation
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work as part of a team
The ability to work reasonable overtime
Have a current driver's licence
