Registered Nurses - Scrub Scout and Endoscopy | Brisbane

An exciting opportunity is available for passionate Registered Nurses who are committed to delivering exceptional patient care to join a private Surgical Centre in eastern Brisbane. Permanent full-time, part-time, and casual opportunities are available. Successful candidates will be flexible to work across shifts Monday to Friday and participate in an on-call roster once established in the role.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a key member of a multidisciplinary team, you will play an essential role in supporting perioperative workflow. You will be supported by experienced clinical educators and ongoing professional development opportunities, all while contributing to a hospital known for its excellence in patient outcomes and supportive team culture.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting perioperative workflow and maintaining timely theatre schedules;
- Communicating effectively with surgeons, anaesthetists, and nursing teams;
- Demonstrating sound clinical judgment and adaptability in a busy environment;
- Promoting a culture of safety, empathy, and respect across all interactions.

REQUIREMENTS

- Current registration with AHPRA;
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in perioperative/ Scrub Scout nursing;
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in Endoscopy nursing;
- Excellent communication, time management,



and clinical decision-making skills;
- A flexible and proactive approach to patient care.

REMUNERATION

On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $39.96 - $54.01+ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Located in Brisbane's eastern suburbs, the facility will specialise in day surgery services across a broad range of specialities, including Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Endoscopy, ENT, Urology, Plastic Surgery, and Gynaecology.
