Remuneration: $52.26– $55.52 per hour PLUS Salary packaging benefits and Superannuation.

Employment Type: Full time or Part-time (flexible) | 12 month fixed-term contract

Location: Perth

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Program Development Officer to develop and enhance evidence-informed programs that support children, young people and families impacted by mental health challenges.

Responsibilities of the role (not limited to):

- Design and develop evidence-informed programs and services that respond to the needs of children, young people and families experiencing or impacted by mental health challenges.
- Develop program content, resources, tools and delivery guides to support consistent implementation.
- Establish and implement processes to review and evaluate programs on a regular basis.
- Consult with service users, children and young people, reference groups, families, carers and stakeholders to inform program development activities.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate programme outcomes and recommendations.
- Promote a culture of child safety and support staff to understand and implement child safe practices within program delivery.

About You

- A relevant tertiary Degreein Counselling, Psychology, Social Work or related discipline that provides a sound understanding of mental health, child and adolescent development, family wellbeing and evidence-based practice.
- Demonstrated experience in researching, designing and developing programs, courses,



workshops or psychoeducational resources.
- Valid Driver's Licence

Have or be willing to obtain the following:

- National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
- Working with Children Card
- Current First Aid Certificate
