We are looking for an experienced, confident Sales Rep/Consultant to join our showroom team. This is a genuine sales role.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' demonstrated sales experience
- A proven ability to actively sell-not simply serve customers
- Solid questioning, listening and needs-analysis skills
- Confidence recommending products and asking for the sale
- Experience following up enquiries and quotes
- The ability to build rapport and develop long-term customer relationships
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Confidence working independently and taking ownership of customers from enquiry through to sale
The Role
- Proactively engage customers entering the showroom
- Understand their project, needs, budget and timeframe
- Guide customers through product options and selections
- Recommend complementary products and complete solutions
- Prepare and follow up quotes
- Convert enquiries into sales
- Maintain relationships with customers, builders and trades
- Follow sales opportunities through rather than waiting for customers to return
- Work closely with our showroom, operations and warehouse team
