The role

Based in Batemans Bay this key role provides customer administration and co-ordination to support the Tattam Express business.

This is a stimulating role in a fast paced environment with a potential to grow and develop within the business.

The role is to be full time or part time and can be shaped to the strengths of the successful candidate.

Tattam Express is a longstanding and successful local business that has been providing high quality general freight services to the NSW South Coast from Canberra and Sydney for over 30 years.

We are looking for a commercially astute person that is passionate about customer service and administration , possesses attention to detail, is flexible and is happy to solve problems and deliver solutions.

Qualifications & experience

- Experience dealing with multiple prioritiesin fast paced environment





- Familiarity with office and / accounting software products

- Strong communication, attention to detail and organisational skills

- Ability to find and implement practical solutions

- No prior experience with freight / road transportation is required.

Tasks & responsibilities

- Acting as the first contact in terms of customer and supplier enquiries

- Entering and checking data in the Freight Management System

- Acting as an account champion for nominated accounts

- Providing simple quotes and pricing

- Taking orders / pick up requests etc

- Other tasks may depend on the skills, background and interest of the candidate i.e. HR / project management / financial analysis / compliance / continuous improvement and training.
