Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will support financialand management accounting activities across a diverse, values-led organisationdelivering employment, training and health services throughout Australia.

Thisis a hands-on opportunity to broaden your accounting experience while workingwithin a collaborative team that values integrity, continuous improvement andresponsible financial stewardship.

KeyResponsibilities

- Contribute tomonth-end and year-end processes, including preparing journals, accruals,prepayments and general ledger reconciliations.
- Prepare balancesheet reconciliations, investigate reconciling items and help maintain theintegrity and accuracy of financial records.
- Assist withmonthly management reports, financial statements, budgeting andforecasting, including analysing income, expenditure and variances.
- Support debtorand creditor management, cost allocations and the maintenance of the fixedasset register, including asset additions and disposals.
- Preparereconciliations and supporting documentation for internal and externalaudits, maintaining accurate records and audit trails.
- Assist withpayroll reconciliations and statutory compliance activities, includingsuperannuation, payroll tax, GST and BAS reporting.

Skillsand Experience

- A relevantqualification in accounting, commerce, finance or a related discipline,together with one to three years’ experience in an accounting or financerole.
- Sound knowledgeof financial and management accounting processes, with an understanding ofaccounting standards, internal controls and statutory compliancerequirements.
- Stronganalytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigatediscrepancies,



identify trends and interpret financial information.
- Excellentattention to detail, communication and organisational skills, supported bya collaborative and values-focused approach.
- IntermediateExcel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP and SUMIFS, and experienceusing MYOB Exo, Xero, MYOB or a similar accounting system.
- Progress towardsCPA or CA qualification, or experience with Power BI and financialreporting tools, would be highly regarded.
