About the Role

We are currently seeking compassionate and reliable Support Workers to join our team in Preston. This role focuses on building strong, positive relationships with participants while supporting them in their daily lives, both at home and in the community.

We have two unique clients seeking support, each with their own personality, routine, and support needs. We are looking for the right match—not just experience, but genuine connection.

Client Profiles:

Client 1

This client enjoys engaging conversations and is always up for a chat about politics, footy, cooking, and a wide range of interests. He is looking for someone who is a good listener and can provide emotional support.

He benefits from structure and consistency, so a support worker who understands mental health and neurodivergence, values routine, and can maintain a calm, organised environment will be a excellent fit.

Client 2

This client thrives on routine, starting each day with coffee followed by attending church, then returning home for lunch and leisure time.

He has a large German Shepherd who plays an important role in his life. Due to injury, he requires a support worker who is confident handling a strong dog and can assist with walking her safely.

Client 3

This client is a creative at heart! When they’re not working on their latest project,



you’ll find him gaming, building LEGO sets, or relaxing at home. He primarily uses he/him pronouns but may also use they/them at times. They would value a support worker who understands and respects gender identity and has awareness of the LGBTQIA+ community. They’re also a big fan of Sanrio, Kuromi is his favourite! Who is your favourite character?

Key Responsibilities

- Providing person-centred care and daily living support
- Supporting community access and social participation
- Assisting with meal preparation and light household tasks
- Administering or assisting with medication
- Maintaining accurate progress notes and documentation
- Supporting individuals with behaviours of concern when required

About You

We are looking for someone who is warm, engaging, and genuinely passionate about supporting others.

You will bring:

- A positive, bubbly, and approachable personality
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust
- The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively

Requirements

- Experience supporting individuals with mental health needs
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (or equivalent experience)
- Current First Aid and CPR
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence, Car and insurance
