**About the Role**S N Y Tiling Pty Ltd is a Sydney-based tiling company specialising in duplex and large-scale residential projects, including luxury homes. We are seeking an experienced and skilled Wall & Floor Tiler to join our team, working across recent builds and renovations on high-standard residential developments throughout the Sydney metropolitan area.**Duties**1. Prepare surfaces for tiling, including cleaning, levelling, and waterproofing walls, floors, and other surfaces2. Measure and mark out work areas to determine tile layout, patterns, and quantities required3. Cut and shape tiles (ceramic, porcelain, stone, mosaic) to fit around fixtures, corners, and edges using hand and power tools4. Mix and apply adhesives, mortar, and grouting compounds according to manufacturer specifications5. Lay and fix tiles to walls, floors, benchtops, and splashbacks across duplex and large residential/luxury home projects, in accordance with plans and specifications6. Apply grout and sealants to finish tiled surfaces and ensure a durable, water-resistant finish7. Install expansion joints, trims,



and edging to ensure structural integrity and a professional finish8. Inspect completed work for accuracy, alignment, and quality, rectifying any defects9. Read and interpret building plans, specifications, and job instructions for multi-unit and large-scale residential builds10. Maintain tools and equipment, and ensure worksites are kept clean, tidy, and safe11. Comply with Work Health and Safety (WHS) regulations and site-specific safety requirements at all times**Requirements**1. Relevant trade qualification in Wall & Floor Tiling (Certificate III) or equivalent demonstrated industry experience2. Sound knowledge of tiling materials, adhesives, and waterproofing methods3. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications4. Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks, including kneeling, bending, and lifting5. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship6. Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
