Temporary OO4 Ranger, Eungella National Park

Are you ready to contribute to the management of one of Queensland's iconicnational parks? As part of the Pioneer team, you'll play a key role in delivering thework unit's Operational Plan and Annual Work Plan under the guidance of theRanger in Charge.

This role involves a variety of responsibilities, including operating and maintainingplant and equipment, managing pest plants and animals, conducting planned burnsand wildfire suppression, and maintaining park infrastructure. You'll also managesmall projects, perform compliance activities, and support natural and culturalresource management. Practical skills in operating and maintaining tools andequipment are essential.

You'll provide on-ground supervision to field-based staff, work collaboratively withothers, and adapt to agile service needs to ensure high-quality parkmanagement. While most of your work will be field-based, you'll also undertakeadministrative tasks such as record-keeping and procurement.
