Administrator - Automotive Workshop (Emerald Based)

This is a varied, hands-on role that combines workshop administration, customer service and vehicle/parts coordination. You will work closely with the Workshop Manager and mechanics to help keep the workshop running efficiently.

Key responsibilities

Managing customer enquiries by phone, email and in person

Booking vehicles into the workshop and coordinating appointments

Creating and maintaining job cards and work orders

Preparing quotes and obtaining customer approvals

Following up outstanding quotes and repair approvals

Processing invoices and assisting with accounts administration

Coordinating purchase orders and supplier invoices

Assisting with parts ordering and supplier communication

Keeping customers updated on the progress of their vehicles

Maintaining accurate workshop and customer records

Dropping of and picking up vehicles

About you

Has previous administration experience, preferably within an automotive,



mechanical or similar environment

Is highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks

Has excellent communication and customer service skills

Is confident using computers and Microsoft Office

Has strong attention to detail

Can work independently but also enjoys being part of a team

Is reliable, professional and takes pride in their work

Can work in a busy workplace and meet deadlines

Holds a current driver's licence and is comfortable driving company vehicles

Is comfortable travelling to mine sites and around the Emerald area when required
