About the role

Play a key role in keeping people, assets, and facilities safe. As a Security Officer,you’lldeliver frontline security through patrols, monitoring, access control, and incident response—whilealways providing a professional and customer-focused presence.

Job Location: Sydney CBD

Contract: Permanent full time

Pay Rate:SSIA Level3

Shift Pattern:Day and Night shift

Key responsibilities:

Primary dutiesinclude and not limitedto:

- Conduct routine patrols and security checks
- Perform alarm response and incident management
- Maintain control room and site security operations
- Monitor CCTV, alarms, and security systems
- Identifyand respond to suspicious behaviour or incidents
- Maintainaccuratesurveillance records
- Escort visitors, contractors, and personnel
- Monitor movement of goods and deliveries
- Respond to security breaches and alarms
- Support emergency evacuation and incident coordination
- Liaise with emergency services whenrequired
- Completeaccuratereports and documentation
- Ensure compliance with procedures and regulations

About You

- Must haveSecurity Licence,Classification 1A(Unarmed Guarding)
- Valid First Aid Certificate(3yearsvalidity)



withcurrent CPR Certificate(1 year validity)
- Ability to clear an Australian Police Check
- Strong communicationand customer service skills
- Excellent observation, problem-solving, and reporting abilities
- Confidence using security systems and MS Office
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Experience with CCTV, alarms, and access control systems
