What You'll Be Doing

You'll play a key role in creating a safe, engaging and inclusive environment for school-aged children by:

- Delivering fun, meaningful and child-led experiences
- Supporting children's wellbeing, belonging and confidence
- Building positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Incorporating children's interests and voices into programming
- Using observations to inform planning and continuous improvement
- Maintaining active supervision and promoting child-safe practices
- Contributing to service quality, compliance and improvement initiatives
- Mentoring and positively influencing less experienced educators

You will help the service director build an inclusive practice with strong family partnerships and continuous quality improvement and team capability development.

Essential Requirements

- Approved Working with Children Check
- Relevant qualification in Children's Services, Education, OSHC or related field (or working towards)
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Understanding of child-safe practice and active supervision
- Availability to work before school, after school and school holiday programs
