Senior Manager - Financial Markets Operations | Treasury/ Derivatives

We are currently partnering with a leading financial services organisation to appoint a Senior Manager into a high-impact operations leadership position.

This is an opportunity for an experienced professional with a background across OTC Derivatives, Treasury, Collateral & Margining, Settlements or broader Markets Operations to take on significant responsibility across a complex and highly regulated environment.

The role will have broad exposure across financial markets operations, with responsibilities including:

- Managing the end-to-end operational lifecycle of OTC cleared and uncleared derivatives
- Overseeing collateral and margining, including Variation Margin (VM), Initial Margin (IM) and CSA activity
- Managing derivatives settlements and post-trade processing
- Oversight of repo collateral and securities financing activity
- Portfolio, trade and cash reconciliations
- Managing breaks, exceptions and operational issues through to resolution
- Oversight of valuation and collateral disputes
- Maintaining a solid operational risk and control environment
- Leading and developing high-performing teams across onshore and offshore locations




- Working closely with senior stakeholders across trading, risk, finance, legal and technology
- Driving process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Identifying opportunities to simplify processes, strengthen controls and build scalable operating models

You'll ideally have:

- Significant experience across Financial Markets Operations, Treasury, Derivatives, Collateral, Margining or Settlements
- Strong understanding of the operational lifecycle of derivatives
- Experience across VM, IM, CSA, margin calls and collateral management highly regarded
- Exposure to repo, securities financing or derivatives settlements advantageous
- Strong understanding of operational risk, controls, governance and reconciliations
- Proven people leadership experience, including managing teams across onshore and offshore environments
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- A track record of driving process improvement and operational efficiency
- Strong communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills
