- Safely operate vacuum excavation equipment and associated machinery for potholing/NDD of underground services, stormwater pipeline cleaning and other related works.
- Deliver materials and equipment from our yard to active construction sites.
- Locate underground services including power, communications, water, gas, drainage and sewer.
- Pick up orders and materials from suppliers and deliver them directly to site as required.
- Conduct daily pre-start and pre-operational checks and report any mechanical issues, defects or maintenance requirements.
- Safely load and unload materials and equipment as required.
- Move materials, tools and equipment between sites as directed.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures, site requirements and relevant regulations, prioritising the safety of yourself and others.
- Complete delivery dockets, work records and other required paperwork accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and roadworthy vehicle at all times.
- Accurately document work completed and maintain detailed records.
- Work collaboratively with the team and assist colleagues with general duties as required.
What We're Looking For
- Current HR licence (essential)
- Experience driving in metro Sydney – knowing your way around is a big plus
- Construction industry background preferred
- Must have Experience with vac truck / NDD operation
- White Card preferred
- Physically fit and able to assist with manual handling
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
