Description

Due to the continued growth of our Perth practice, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Special Counsel (full time or part time) to join our CTP team.

Our team values expertise, collaboration and initiative. You will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced principals and lawyers while managing your own matters and contributing to a supportive, high performing culture.

We are a flexible, approachable and skilled team with deep expertise in the CTP area. Our practice handles a broad range of litigated and non-litigated matters, from straight forward quantum claims through to complex and large loss matters involving catastrophic injuries, dependency claims and liability disputes.

While your primary focus will be CTP, there will be opportunities to gain experience in other areas.

Skills and Experiences

- At least seven (7) years' post admission experience in personal injury litigation.
- Experience assessing and managing CTP claims, including those involving catastrophic injury and dependency claims.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience undertaking District Court pre-trial conference negotiations.
- Robust strategic thinking,



negotiation and problem solving abilities.
- The ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with principals and colleagues.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A practical and client focused approach.
