Hoffman Industries is hiring! We’re looking for reliable, hard-working people to join our sawmill team ASAP.
We have full-time and casual positions available and are keen to hear from both experienced workers and people who are willing to learn.
Work includes:
- Stacking, sorting and processing timber
- Operating sawmill machinery
- General yard and mill duties
- Loader, bobcat, edger and forklift work for those with experience
- Keeping the work area secure and tidy
We’d also love to hear from anyone with mechanical, welding or fabrication experience for:
- Machinery repairs and maintenance
- Welding and fabrication
- Fault finding and breakdowns
- Equipment modifications and general maintenance
What we’re looking for:
- Reliable and willing to turn up and have a go
- Physically capable of hands-on work
- Able to work as part of a team
- Sawmill, timber, farming or machinery experience is a bonus
- Forklift ticket is desirable but not essential
