We are seeking three experienced Senior Software Engineers to support a major Federal Government cloud transformation initiative. The successful Senior Software Engineers will work within Agile delivery teams to design, develop and deploy secure cloud-native applications supporting a large-scale intelligence and surveillance platform. You will be offered a long-term contract through to June 2027 with the view to extend for a further 2 years and receive a rewarding hourly rate.

The successful Senior Software Engineers will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Designing &developing; cloud-native applications, APIs, microservices & integration services using AWS technologies
- Building serverless and containerised solutions leveraging services such as Lambda, ECS, EKS and API Gateway
- Developing Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation and AWS CDK
- Implementing CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and deployment processes across cloud environments
- Providing technical leadership,



architecture input and support for complex cloud-based solutions

The successful Senior Software Engineers will have:

- Strong experience developing cloud-native applications using Java, Python, Node.js or TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, serverless architectures and container platforms
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Proven experience designing scalable, secure and resilient software solutions within Agile environments
- AWS Developer, AWS Solutions Architect or related cloud certifications highly regarded

This is a outstanding opportunity to work with a leading Federal Government Department and contribute to a nationally significant Senior Software Engineer program leveraging modern AWS cloud technologies. The successful Senior Software Engineers will be offered a long-term contract through to June 2027 with the view to be extended for a further 2 years and receive a rewarding hourly rate.
