The focus is on someone who has been on the advisory side of infrastructure or energy financing — structuring debt raises for clients, managing lender processes on behalf of a sponsor, leading capital markets mandates, or advising on capital structure. The distinction between advisory-side and lender-side execution matters here.

What they are looking for:

- VP or Director level, depending on experience
- Advisory-side background in infrastructure or energy debt — capital structuring, project finance advisory, or DCM in an advisory capacity
- Comfortable owning mandates in a lean, senior team setting
- Australian market knowledge useful but not essential — strong international infrastructure credentials are equally valued
