We’re representing a major infrastructure delivery partner involved in a multi-billion-dollar roads program — a long-term commitment that will transform connectivity across Melbourne’s outer corridor. They’re looking for a skilled Contract Administrator to join their commercial team, working alongside Project Managers, Engineers, and a high-performing leadership group.

The Role

As part of this major roads alliance, you’ll take responsibility for contract management across civil, structural, and services packages — ensuring accuracy, compliance and best-for-project outcomes.

You’ll manage head contract obligations, negotiate with subcontractors, and drive commercial discipline across your package — while contributing to a culture that values collaboration, integrity and performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, review and administer subcontract agreements, variations, and progress claims.

- Support the Project Manager in forecasting,



cost control and financial reporting.

- Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and consultants to ensure timely delivery.

- Ensure full compliance with head contract terms, project schedules, and commercial governance.

- Assist with risk assessment, procurement strategies and value-engineering initiatives.

About You

You’re a confident, detail-driven Contract Administrator who thrives in a busy project environment. You’ll likely bring:

- Experience on major civil or road infrastructure projects (Tier 1 or Tier 2 level).

- Solid knowledge of head contract and subcontract administration.

- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.

- A cooperative mindset with the ability to influence and solve problems constructively.
