The Departmentfor Infrastructure and Transport plays a vital role connecting people andplaces in South Australia by managing roads, marine and public transportnetworks across the State, and builds and maintains the State-ownedinfrastructure that enables the delivery of essential and important governmentservices to our community.

The Transport NetworkPlanning team provides strategic leadership, planning expertise, andevidence-based advice to support the development of safety focused programs andprojects that that support government investment in a safer, more efficienttransport network for all South Australians.

Lead networksafety analysis, planning, and engagement to inform transport investment androad safety outcomes. We seek a collaborative, forward-thinking and analyticalprofessional with strong teamwork, communication and project management skillswho can influence decisions and lead planning that supports evidence-basedimprovements to South Australia’s transport network.

Educational Qualifications / Licences

- A recognised degree orpostgraduate qualification in Engineering providing eligibility forprofessional accreditation with Engineers Australia or a recognised degree orpostgraduate qualification in the discipline of planning or transport planningis required.

Special Conditions

- A National Police Check (NPC)



is required prior to employment in theDepartment for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every threeyears.
- Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required.

Remuneration

PO4 - $122,752 to $133,635 pa + superannuation
