Project Management Institute (PMI) Queensland Chapter – Brisbane QLD

PMI Queensland is on the hunt for the next Associate Director (AD) – Events who will be working under the supervision of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The AD - Events is responsible for performing operational activities associated with the Events Portfolio and setting the vision for the Portfolio. They will also be supported by the Deputy Associate Director, Program Lead, and Team Members of the Events and Professional Development portfolio to execute the activities.

Duties

- Execution of monthly Chapter events, special PMIQ events, and events in collaboration with other organisations
- Developing strategies to improve stakeholder feedback and experience with events
- Build and maintain strong working relationship with event host partners and look for opportunities to partner with new event hosts
- Work in collaboration with other portfolios to gain insights into success of past events to adjust future events
- Implement strategies defined by PMIQ board as communicated by CEO

Experience

Experience in managing events,



hosting, and networking with stakeholders is highly desired

Education & Training

Tertiary Education or equivalent in management, Project Management, Business, or related background
