We are currently seeking a Full Time Permanent staff memberto join our team based at our Operations Centre, Keilor Park.

The role

Coordinate and oversee the planning and delivery ofCouncil’s footpath and concrete rehabilitation programs, ensuring pedestrianinfrastructure remains safe, accessible and serviceable. This role isresponsible for managing contracts, budgets, resources and works programs todeliver high-quality community outcomes and support the long-termsustainability of Council assets.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Lead the planning, prioritisation and deliveryof Council’s footpath, kerb and pedestrian infrastructure maintenance andrehabilitation programs.
- Manage significant operational and capitalbudgets, contracts and resources to ensure works are delivered safely, on time,within budget and to required standards.
- Manage contractor performance and provide expertadvice on contractual and technical matters to support the successful deliveryof footpath and civil infrastructure works.
- Leading and developing technical staff andcontractors while ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, Councilstandards and the Road Management Plan.

To be considered you will have

- Degree qualification in Civil Engineering, AssetManagement,



Project Management or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience in municipal infrastructureconstruction, maintenance, rehabilitation or asset management.
- Demonstrated experience in contractadministration, contractor management and the supervision of civilinfrastructure works.
- Well-developed negotiation, stakeholderengagement, verbal communication and report writing skills.
- Current Victorian Driver's Licence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, worksmanagement systems and project management software.
- Experience in leading the development andimplementation of maintenance programs, budgets, policies and serviceimprovement initiatives.
- Local Government experience and knowledge ofmunicipal infrastructure management practices are highly desirable.
